Former Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen will remain free on bond while he appeals his conviction for misusing tax payer funds to help elect Republicans to the state legislature. Last month Dane County Circuit Judge Steven Ebert sentenced Jensen to 15 months in prison and orderd him to begin serving the sentence in July. But yesterday Ebert agreed to let Jensen stay out of prison to pursue his appeal. Gil Halsted reports…
