Hundreds of anti-tax advocates and union members traded verbal taunts at competing rallies outside the Wisconsin capitol building yesterday.The group “Americans for Prosperity” planned their side of the skirmish weeks ago as a way to urge lawmakers not to raise any taxes in the state budget.That gave unions time to organize an even bigger counter-protest to show support for the government services taxes fund.
If anything, their clash showed the degree of emotion behind issues in the budget being debated by lawmakers and the governor.Wisconsin Public Radio’s Shawn Johnson reports…
