It’s Opening Day for the Milwaukee Brewers!The Brewers will take on their arch-rivals, the Chicago Cubs, at what promises to be a chilly and windy Wrigley Field this afternoon.The Brewers had a good season last year.They held an 8-and-a-half game lead in their division in late June, but it dwindled away in the last three months of the season, and Milwaukee ended up finishing a close second to the Cubs. The Brewers are expected to contend for a spot in the playoff this season.That’s something they haven’t achieved since…1982.A lot has changed since then, and that’s something that gives blogger Josh Wilker pause for thought….
