The D-N-R Board tomorrow may approve a plan to reduce arsenic in state drinking water wells.Arsenic is a potential cancer-causing chemical. The D-N-R Board also expects to vote on a plan to reduce ammonia nitrogen in water supplies. That could affect about one-hundred smaller communities that use sludge lagoons for wastewater treatment.
