This is the second entry in a year-long series tracking all gun-related homicides in Wisconsin. The first entry can be found here.

Wisconsin Public Radio’s statewide count of gun-related homicides now stands at eight for the year. Some recent additions to the tally:

  • A 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee, who was shot and killed in a residence on Wednesday evening. The Milwaukee Police Department say they’re investigating the homicide, and that a 21-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested.
  • Bruce Lloyd Jr., a 22-year-old man who was fatally shot on Monday afternoon while sitting in a parked car on Milwaukee’s near west side.
  • Ikeem Cantrell, a 21-year-old man from Milwaukee who was shot last week. Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm this week issued a criminal complaint against two men that Chisholm says were involved in Cantrell’s death.
  • Claudia Bunny, a 48-year-old woman who authorities say died in a Duluth hospital after being shot on Jan. 18 in Sawyer County by a male friend.
