Historic Amistad Sails to Sheboygan

A replica of the 19-th century ship, Amistad, is moored in Sheboygan harbor this week.The ship was made famous when a group of slaves it was carrying mutinied back in 1839.The schooner is run by a non-profit group that uses it to teach about what became the first human rights case to be heard by the U-S Supreme Court.And, as Patty Murray reports, it’s the first time “Amistad” has sailed the Great Lakes.
