Cleo’s Brown Beam Tavern in Appleton was established by restarateur Cleo Brown in 1970. The bar is known for its year-round Christmas theme, including a menu of wintry cocktails and mocktails.
The Dirty Snowball is the bar’s signature drink. In 2023, Cleo’s staff said they made more than 13,000 Dirty Snowballs in the month of December.

Ingredients
- 1 part vodka
- 2 parts crème de cacao
- 2 parts coffee liqueur
- Splash of cream or half-and-half
Instructions
Blend with ice and serve with cherries on top.
