- 1½ Cups Whole wheat pastry flour
- ¾ Cup Old-fashioned oats
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- ¾ tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Cup Buttermilk*
- 1/3 Cup Honey
- ½ Stick Butter
- 2 Large Eggs
- ¾ Cup Golden raisins
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Grease muffin pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, honey, butter and eggs.
- Add to the dry ingredients bowl and fold in raisins to the entire mixture.
- Stir just to combine, and pour batter evenly into the greased muffin pan.
- Bake for 17 – 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on rack and serve.

Cooking Tips
*A good substitute for Buttermilk is a Tbs of White Vinegar or Lemon Juice mixed with 1 Cup of your regular milk. Let stand for a few minutes.
