Gov. Scott Walker is heading overseas again, this time on a trade mission to Germany, France and Spain in April.

Walker announced the trip in Milwaukee on Thursday.

“We live in a global marketplace — we live in a global world out there. And increasingly, with the quality of the products that we produce and the strength of our workforce, we can compete with anyone in the world,” said Walker.

Walker said he’ll travel with members of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, and is inviting state companies to join the trip.

Walker traveled to the United Kingdom earlier this month, also for a trade mission.

Democrats say the governor is traveling out of the U.S. a lot to try to boost his foreign policy credentials as he runs for president.
