A lot of people listen for the news of monthly unemployment rates. Last month, we were told that Wisconsin lost 9,700 jobs in October.Then last week, we were told that number had been revised to just 2,400.
So what accounts for a 7,300 swing in a month’s time? State Workforce Development Secretary Reggie Newson blames the way the federal government processes data provided by states.Economist Russ Kashian agrees.And he joins us now to explain the problem.
