One of the state’s tallest buildings could be built in Milwaukee. Developers have proposed a 120-million dollar mixed-use skyscraper for the Lake Michigan shoreline. The developer says it will create over forty-four hundred construction jobs. Rick Barrett says he plans to work with local unions. “This is a union project,” he says. “This is a project that we certainly want the best workers in this city to be working on.”
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele applauds the building’s proposal. He says the development comes at a time when workers are in desperate need of employment.
