Students in the Milwaukee Public School District have Friday off, as well as those in the Baraboo, Kenosha, Janesville, Whitewater and hundreds of other school districts. A winter storm warning is ending later Friday morning as the snow tapers off.

The National Weather Service in Sullivan reported Friday morning that the snow will end from west to east, but that hazardous road conditions would continue in the morning.
