The entire state is under a wind chill advisory Monday, and it will remain in place until noon for most areas. Cold winds are moving through the state with wind chills as low as 40 below zero, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow is also expected in some parts of the state.

Southeastern Wisconsin could get between 3 and 5 inches of snow, with higher amounts possible. A winter weather advisory goes into effect for that area at 3 p.m. and will remain until noon Tuesday.

Snow is also expected to start falling Monday evening in Manitowoc County, where 2 to 4 inches is possible.

With dangerously cold wind chills all over the state, the weather service warns frostbite can happen in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin.
