For one Wisconsin woman, running to relieve stress in college snowballed into a goal of running 30 marathons before her 30th year of life. We talk to the accomplished marathoner about the origin of her goal and what has driven her to do it. We also discuss why more Americans are choosing to have children later or not at all and we get an update on extensive flooding throughout Dane County.

A recent survey conducted by the New York Times found many Americans cite personal reasons for deciding not to have children. But they also cite economic concerns, such as not being able to afford children. We speak with Stephanie Coontz, Professor of History and Family Studies at Evergreen State University, about the survey and what it could mean for families in the future.
