Closing the homeownership gap between white and Black families
Only 25% of Black families in Milwaukee own their homes, which is roughly half the rate of white homeownership. The nonprofit Acts Housing is trying to reverse that worsening trend with financial guidance for families of color in Milwaukee and Beloit.
