It’s going to be another busy weekend on Wisconsin’s roads: The Department of Transportation is warning drivers to plan extra time for their travels due to the holidays, weather, and a big football game in Green Bay.

Traffic could be significant especially for those going to the Packers-Lions game on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The game decides who wins the NFC North division title and homefield advantage in the first playoff game.

Besides the game, a record number of people are also expected to travel to and from holiday gatherings. AAA estimates nearly 2 million travellers will drive on Wisconsin roads in the week between Christmas and New Years.
