Wisconsin is the national leader in ginseng production. Most of it is cultivated; however, the wild herb is more lucrative, selling for hundreds of dollars a pound. But some researchers think the plant is going the way of the dinosaur. A study predicts wild ginseng could become extinct within a century because of hungry deer. Shamane Mills reports….
