Treaty rights deniers will not be a factor in mine debate


Lake Superior Chippewa leaders don’t expect a racist reaction by using treaty rights in their opposition to an iron ore mine. That was the case when treaty rights were first exercised at northern Wisconsin boat landings in the 1980’s. Mike Simonson reports.
