Governor Tony Evers wants the state Legislature to convene in a special session so that $1 billion dollars on child care, higher education and paid family leave is spent. A northern Wisconsin town will receive a major loan to help their financial troubles. This comes after a federal court ruled that some tribal properties cannot be taxed. Danielle Kaeding will have more. And, a doctor’s arrest in 1969 started Wisconsin’s path to legal abortion. WPR reporters Sarah Lehr and Rob Mentzer will explain how that event is important to today.
