About two dozen people were injured when a pier collapsed in Madison on Labor Day. We’ll hear why more than 60 people were packed onto that pier when it collapsed, just ahead of classes starting at UW Madison. Plus the 608 area code will no longer be assigned to new phone numbers. Hope Kirwan chats with some businesses in south central and southwest Wisconsin on what these digits mean to them. And, UW-Green Bay is teaming up with the Packers to help fans learn more about the organization’s history.
