Public Media funding reduced at the federal level, EAA Fly-In begins in Oshkosh

Public media outlets in Wisconsin are reacting to the Trump administration’s successful effort to claw back federal funding for NPR and PBS stations. A new study found that Wisconsin has fallen 10 percent behind the national average for per-student spending at public schools. More than 500,000 people are expected to visit Oshkosh this week for the annual AirVenture Fly-In.
