Wisconsin naturalists and Ho-Chunk Nation collaborate to host natural resources summit
At the end of the month, the Wisconsin Master Naturalist program is holding their biennial Wisconsin Summit for Natural Resources Volunteers. This year’s event will be co-hosted with the Ho-Chunk Nation under theme Mąąną Pįį Hirakara, or “Caring for Grandmother Earth.” We talk to event organizers about the collaboration, including how indigenous knowledge can inform the work of naturalists in Wisconsin.
