Mr. Jones is going to Washington. That was the decision this week when voters elected Doug Jones, the first Democratic U.S. senator in Alabama in 25 years, in the state’s special election to fill the seat previously held by now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Meanwhile, the GOP came together on a tax bill and a Politico report garnered attention for its coverage of what’s next for Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis.

In Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill clearing the way for copper and gold mining and a number of Democratic gubernatorial candidates met up for a forum in Eau Claire. Join us as two guests of differing political opinions discuss these issues and more during the Week in Review.
