North American and African bodies of water hold nearly half of the freshwater on the Earth’s surface, and top policy makers and experts have worked together for years in an effort to improve these areas. We talk with former U.S. Senator Russ Feingold, who was involved with this initiative, and the head of the UW-Madison Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies about what’s being done involving water around the world.
