President Trump addresses the nation for the first time from the Oval Office. He’s expected to talk about security and humanitarian aid on the US-Mexico border, his call for $5.7 billion in funding for a border wall, and the current partial government shutdown. His address will be followed immediately by a joint response from Democratic leaders, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
