The Twin Ports, like so many cities across the nation, saw protests in response to the death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis Police. Hear from protest speakers on this week’s edition of “Simply Superior,” airing Friday, June 5, on 91.3 KUWS-FM/Superior and 90.9-WUWS-FM/Ashland.

Also, host Robin Washington discusses police use-of-force protocols and training deficiencies with Cedric Alexander, former Chief of Police for DeKalb County Ga, and Rochester, N.Y., and past president of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. Washington also analyzes the state of Minnesota’s charging documents leveled this week against all four involved officers with criminal law attorney Andrew Gordon of the Legal Rights Center in St. Paul.
