All eyes are on Washington D.C, as we follow the historic events of the week which saw the first ever repeat impeachment of a sitting U.S. President. Host Robin Washington speaks with Wisconsin 7th District U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, who has been a strong supporter of the president, on his vote and thoughts, and also analyzes those of members of Congress from neighboring districts.
Also, the Duluth Playhouse marks the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with an online presentation of “The Mountaintop,” a dramatization of the civil rights leader’s last night before his assassination. The play depicts an exhausted Dr. King as he retires to his room after making his memorable “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech on April 3, 1968. Featuring Gabriel Mayfield as Dr. King and Daysha Ramsey as Camae, this historical drama takes its viewers to the summit of a man’s historic life and offers a stunning new view of his dream for our nation.
