After years of Democratic control, the 74th Assembly District and its neighboring seats in Northwest Wisconsin are now held by Republicans, the majority party in the Legislature. That may make this session a prime opportunity to address issues specific to the area, which also figure prominently in the agenda of Democratic Gov. Tony Evers. Newly elected state Rep. Chanz Green joins “Simply Superior” host Robin Washington to share his optimism for delivering on local concerns.
Also, she was twice named Songwriter of the Year by the Midwest Country Music Organization, yet also “smooths over the rough edges of the country with a buttery voice and intimate songwriting style,” as the Minneapolis Star Tribune put it. Singer-songwriter Sarah Morris shares selections from her newest album in advance of her performance on April 7 at Wussow’s Concert Cafe in Duluth.
