UW-Superior political science professor Alisa Von Hagel joins “Simply Superior” this week to discuss how redistricting affects northwest Wisconsin. Hagel speaks with host Robin Washington about what the political map means for congressional representation and local seats in the Legislature. Washington also takes a look at WPR’s special podcast, “WPR Reports: Mapped Out” for a deep dive into the state’s redistricting process.

Our musical guest is Superior singer-songwriter – and perennial Duluth Dylan Fest song competition winner – Shane Nelson. Nelson returns to share his latest work as well as a free-flowing conversation discussing just about everything.
