A preview of the inaugural central Wisconsin Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, scheduled Sunday, August 22nd in downtown Wausau. Guests include: Susan Ford-Hoffert, Susan G. Komen central Wisconsin affiliate President, Ellyn Fuchsteiner, original Board Member, and Denise Hunt, breast cancer survivor. Discussion will revolve around ongoing efforts to find a cure for breast cancer, the challenges facing cancer survivors, and innovative efforts by Aspirus Hospital and the Marshfield Clinic to expand cancer screenings and treatment to underserved and underinsured women.
