October 5 at 10 a.m., Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 features Mayor Bob Mielke of Wausau and Mayor Mike Wiza of Stevens Point. Glen Moberg will explore with Mielke and Wiza their city’s different approaches to the opportunities and challenges they share as communities with historic, established downtowns located on the Wisconsin River. The program will also feature recorded comments from Mayor Zach Vruwink of Wisconsin Rapids.
