We will host a live forum with both Republican candidates for the Seventh Congressional District: former Ashland County District Attorney Sean Duffy and Portage County farmer and businessman Dan Mielke. Moderator Glen Moberg will ask Duffy and Mielke about the top issues facing the next Congress, including the economy, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the implementation of health care reform, Wall Street regulation, immigration, national energy policy, and the environment. The two candidates face each other in the September 14th primary, with the winner taking on either State Senator Julie Lassa or Superior businessman Don Raihala in the November election.
