We explore Wisconsin’s Pomeranian heritage with Don Zamzow, the president of the Pomeranian Society of Central Wisconsin, which is dedicated to preserving the culture and language of an old European province that played a major role in the development of the greater Wausau area. The Society currently boasts a membership of more than 500 people, and operates a library and cultural center in the old Berlin school building.
