Today we’ll focus on the current effort to toughen drunk driving laws in Wisconsin. Guest will be Shannon Young, a Wausau area woman who has been an activist in the fight against alcohol and drug abuse through her organization BRAVO, Building Responsible Alcohol Values and Options. Also joining the discussion: Jim Maas, Chairman of Wisconsin’s Libertarian Party, who opposes sobriety check points, and increasing the number of people who are incarcerated in the state’s prison system. Listeners will also hear from State Senate Majority Leader Russ Decker (D-Weston), who is co-sponsoring OWI legislation in Madison, and from Jim Treu of the Marathon County Tavern League.
