Discussion of the larger issues behind the controversy involving Barack Obama’s former minister, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, including media coverage, religion and politics, and the role of the church in addressing inner city poverty. Guests will be: Eric Giordano, Associate Professor of Political Science at UW Marathon County; Darryl Mayfield, a Wausau area businessman who teaches courses on multi-cultural issues at Upper Iowa University; and the Reverend Paul Beckel of the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau.
