This Thursday, May 7th at 10 am, Mideast peace activist and Iraqi-American Sami Rasouli returns to Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51. Host Glen Moberg will ask Rasouli about the current situation in Iraq, the challenge posed by the militant group ISIS, and the reaction of some Americans to Muslims in the United States in the wake of recent terrorist acts. Rasouli is also a Minneapolis businessman, and the founder of Muslim/Jewish Dialogue of Minnesota. He returned to Iraq in 2003 following the U.S. invasion.

He is speaking tonight, Tuesday evening at 6:30 at the UW Center for Civic Engagement on the UW-Marathon County campus, 625 Stewart Avenue in Wausau. His appearance is sponsored by the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service and the Merrill Peace Study Group.
