July 28, South Beach Chamber Ensemble

Based in Miami, the South Beach Chamber Ensemble has delighted audiences for more than 25 years. Since 2006, the five-piece group has made an annual trip to central Wisconsin and is now preparing for the South Beach Up North Chamber Music Festival in Wausau and Marshfield.

At 10 a.m. on Friday, July 7, “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes the ensemble to perform selections from their repertoire and share their experiences in advance of the festival, which begins on July 29. The ensemble features Wausau native Michael Andrews, principal cellist and artistic director.
