What does a new administration in the governor’s office and in the Department of Natural Resources mean for conservation in Wisconsin? Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51” explores that question and others with host Rick Reyer and conservation writer Bill Berry.

Berry is the author of “Banning DDT: How Citizen Activists in Wisconsin Led the Way,” and has worked more than 20 years as a reporter, columnist and editor for several daily newspapers. A University of Wisconsin–River Falls graduate and Stevens Point resident, he now writes about conservation and agriculture as a freelance writer and columnist for the “Capital Times” newspaper in Madison.
