This week’s show features best-selling author and Antigo native James Bradley who will discuss his new book The Imperial Cruise. Bradley’s first book Flags of Our Fathers was adapted into a hit movie by producer Clint Eastwood. His second book Flyboys examined the role of airmen like former President George H.W. Bush during the conflict in the Pacific. In his latest book, Bradley continues to examine the bloody struggle for dominance between America and Japan during that pivotal point in world history. Host Glen Moberg will delve into the research behind Bradley’s new book, and ask him about the conclusions he reached about America’s role in the Pacific prior to and during the war. They will also discuss Bradley’s life growing up in North Central Wisconsin.
