An organization in central Wisconsin is connecting veterans and people with disabilities with once-in-a-lifetime hunting opportunities. Rick Reyer welcomes Joe Ramsey, founder of Empowered Dream Hunts, to talk about how the project works, who’s eligible and how veterans across generations can benefit from spending time outdoors hunting with the right support. Rick also talks with Drake Carlson, a Boy Scout who was a recipient of a dream hunt in the past. He’s now working to connect veterans with hunts as part of his merit project. Plus hear from Corey Dornbach, a military veteran and a volunteer who understands firsthand the importance of the project.
