This week features an election forum with the two candidates for the 35th State Assembly District: Democrat Jay Schmelling and Republican Tom Tiffany, both of whom will appear live in our Wisconsin Public Radio studio in Wausau. Discussion will focus on the top issues facing state government, and the regional issues important to North Central Wisconsin. The 35th Assembly District covers portions of Lincoln, Langlade and Oneida Counties. Because of the retirement of Republican Don Friske, there is no incumbent candidate on the ballot. Listeners will have an opportunity to call the program, and question both candidates live on the air.
