August 24 at 10 a.m., Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 looks at the business of sports in central Wisconsin, and the experiences aspiring athletes and sports enthusiasts encounter as they seek professional careers. The show will also examine the role of universities and minor league sports organizations have in the process.
Glen Moberg will moderate a discussion with Mark MacDonald, owner of the Wisconsin Woodchucks; Brad Duckworth, Athletic Director at UW-Stevens Point; and Brian Lammi, founder and CEO of Lammi Sports Management.
