The Ethics Of Water II Part 1
In part 1, among the topics about water ethics and the future of water in the world is a discussion about the scarcity and security of water in different parts of the world, how the keepers of water need to learn from flawed water management models of the past, so mistakes with water management aren’t repeated and talk of how one’s memories of the way bodies of water once were can or can’t be used to shape the future.
The guests include Jeremy Schmidt, with the department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at Dalhousie University, and a member of the ethics and environmental group at the Center for Research in Ethics at the University of Montreal, and Christiana Peppard, a professor at Fordham University, working in the area of American Studies and Environmental Policy.
You are invited to spend some time with Viterbo University’s ever-expanding web page about the conference, which features a gradually expanding directory of conference handouts, videos of selected presentations, audio interviews with several participants, and a newly-produced documentary featuring conference presenters.
