We start our campaign coverage this week on Newsmakers with a look at the 92nd State Assembly district. The seat includes all or parts of Trempealeau, Buffalo, Pepin and Jackson counties in Western Wisconsin. The incumbent Representative is Republican Treig Pronschinske. Pronschinske is running for re-nomination in the Republican primary on Tuesday, August 9th. Challenging him is Republican Ryan T. Owens. Owens joins host Ezra Wall today to talk about what he would do if elected to serve in the 92nd Assembly District. Pronschinske declined to participate in today’s program.
Then, “Stella Teegarden,” or “Teegarden’s Star” is a work that premiered earlier this year at the University of Wisconsin Superior by Estonian composer Urmas Sisask. With all the focus this week on images from outer space, we thought it would be nice to revisit this lovely new work!
