The European Union announced last week that it’s hiking tariffs on Harley Davidson motorcycles from 6 percent to 31 percent in response to President Trump’s tariffs on imported European aluminum and steel. Harley Davidson’s reaction was to move some of its production overseas to avoid what it said would be massive losses, up to $100 million a year.
