A Toronto-based mining company wants to mine gold, zinc and other metals in Michigan upstream from the Menominee River, and has secured three of four permits necessary for proceeding on the project. We talk with Wisconsin Public Radio News’ Danielle Kaeding about the status of the project and consider the effect this is having on residents along the Wisconsin-Michigan Border.
