Republican leaders in Madison are identifying priorities for this legislative session. The Assembly unanimously approved a resolution last week mandating sexual harassment and ethics training and a bill to loosen child labor laws. Now they turn their attention to the opioid epidemic, rural school funding, and foster care. We discuss what’s ahead for the state Assembly in 2018 with Speaker Robin Vos, plus look at a proposed package of bills on changes to welfare and consider Gov. Walker’s call for a special session on them.
