Schools on the ballot: Referendum trends around the state

Last week, 81 Wisconsin school districts asked taxpayers for more than $1.2 billion in referendum money. We speak with two rural district leaders on why their schools needed an increase in funds. Then, the Wisconsin Association of School Boards shares what happens when a district needs to hit the ballot box.
