Despite outliers like Taylor Swift and Cardi B, only 14 percent of all songs to reach Billboard Top Ten status this year have been songs by women. Why are men dominating pop music in 2017, and are women being drowned out? This hour, a music and culture writer breaks down some of the factors behind the music.
