Norman welcomes the celebrated St. Lawrence String Quartet to the studio for a live performance. Hailing from sunny Stanford University, the St. Lawrence String Quartet is composed of violinists Geoff Nuttall and Owen Dalby, violist Lesley Robertson, and cellist Christopher Costanza.

The Quartet is in Madison for a performance on Friday, February 5th at 8pm at the Wisconsin Union Theater’s Shannon Hall. The program includes Haydn Discovery, a type of lecture-recital in which they explain and demonstrate the genius behind Haydn’s string quartets, and John Adams’ Second Quartet, which was written specifically with the SLSQ in mind.

Tickets and more information are available here.
